Hi guys as some of you will know I'm collecting my new .243 on Tuesday. I've bought a box of Hornady superformance 75g sst to try out. I can't find this ammo on the hornady website. Does anyone have any information on this ammo.

Kind regards
Dan

It's allegedly a UK market only product commissioned by edgars
although I am a cynical that Hornady would give a toss about the 100 odd people over here using 75gr sst!!

assume it does the same as this:
Hornady Manufacturing Company :: Ammunition :: Rifle :: Choose by Caliber :: 243 Win :: 243 Win 75 gr V-MAX® Superformance® Varmint

I agree with you on this which also makes me question the actual differences between the SST, V-Max and A-Max.

Also the 6mm 75 grain SST isn't a boat tail design unlike the rest of the SST range but has a flat bottom just like the 6mm 75 grain V-Max. Go figure.

Just to add I have used this round for the last year or so and I used the data from the 75 grain v-max to put into Strelok+ and it proved to be very accurate.

Thanks alot lads. It's got the same ballistics on the box as the 75g vmax ballistics. So ill treat them as a vmax. As long as they are accurate and do the job on charlie I'm happy ;)
