Hi,
just returned from a night out with Barry. We parked up around 7pm and watched the feed station from the jeep. It was a nice clear night which was a welcome break. We waited out until about 6am. Unfortunately didn't see any pigs. Then waited around until about 8am for a possible shot on deer at first light but no joy. Headed home just after 8am before my body realized how tired I was.

Hi mate, checked the feeder later and it was empty and the hanging strap damaged, both cameras had been tampered with and all images deleted. That's not the first time this has happened so I am going to put a camera up the tree to find out what's going on.

All the flaked maize had been eaten on the ground and fresh rooting in the trap. Its a pity them fallow deer that were fighting didn't hang around for first light as the one had a cracking head, also within a minute or two of you leaving the sun got up on the bank side with three nice munty feeding on the grass area. Deer were not the target species but would have been a nice bonus.

I have tipped a couple of bags of grain and molasses on the bank side to see if the pigs will stop and feed there instead of walking through.

Just found this picture on one of the cameras, if you tilt the picture it shows more detail but still don't know who it is.

At least they left the cameras there, I had one stolen just before Christmas and I went out on Friday night to find somebody had cut through all the legs/ supports on our free standing tower except the ladder, was a good job we always check the seat before we climb up as it could of ended very badly.

Hi Kevin,

I am not taking any further bookings at this moment due to four people doing a runner last weekend without paying thinking they could get away with it, unfortunately for them, it is now a police matter which I can not comment on but I will have the last laugh.

I will fulfill any current bookings but payment will now be when you arrive and not before you leave.

It may be that I will indeed cease to take any more clients as there is just too many people out there who are trying to get your shooting by offering more money to landowners and I feel sorry for the genuine people who just want to get into shooting as they won't get a look in. I know of another person who has lost two of his boar shoots due to ***** going back and doing a deal with the landowner and another who is not going to take anymore clients due to all the **** he takes if an animal does not present itself. I only take clients because I know my shooting is safe but are sick of the hassle caused by these so called sportsmen.

These last ones are well known for what they do and how they do it and one in particular has been banned from this site on numerous occasions but I feel stupid for not doing my usual checks as it would have become obvious what his intentions were.

Chris, no disrespect intended but I can see you on his list so will not get into that discussion, all you need to know is there is a good proportion of people getting results, but as you know these pigs are wild animals and come out when they want to feed
