I'm afraid I'm not, domestically, that just doesn't quite fly... What I'm really trying to do here is save the electrics and insulation under the roof, and my garden plants.
im just about to start a large squirrel clearance job not really economical to shoot the little sods so will be cage trapping i plan on heavily baiting about 10 live catch traps with hole peanuts in shell and locking them open for a few days then once im sure they are feeding ill set them all and hopefully clear a load in just a couple of visits. these will get cooked maybe pot roasted with a chestnut stuffing
Seconded. It does sound a bit wrong, I know, but I tend to go and check on my "bird-box" trap when I get home from work in the evening with something of the anticipatory air of a fellow looking to see if there's anything appetising in the fridge!
Spatchcock tandoori squirrel is as tasty as it easy to prepare!
Can you still get the .22 rf dust shot rounds, limited range and microscopic shot so I imagine small chance of ricochet, or do you just not hear it. Ahh just thought about noise and I guess they would need to be unsuppressed and therefor noisy.
