New Harkila Pro Hunter Wild Boar Range

I understand the need for the boar proof trousers. I have a pair of Pfanner that i wear for tracking. I don't see what use a special extra tuff jacket at £550 is that any other jacket won't do as well. I've noticed nearly all Swedish hunting cloths brands have a tracking jacket now. I like Härkila gear but don't see the point for the UK market and if your hunting boar abroad there's little chance of a boar taking you out at chest height. Just my thoughts.

Although 'chest height' might actually be quite low after a heavy night out on the vinho! ;)

Some good comments:
UK Market: many of our customers hunt outside the UK, many in Eastern Europe, so its not for home hunting.
Jackets: Its the Pro Hunter Jacket and the protection is in the fore-arms.
Trouser protection is focused especialy in the thigh and groin areas

One customer who came in yesterday, whom you may already know, sported a nice scar on his forehead which he pointed out, so its not just body that they can reach.

Just a quick note as of 20th October: The first delivery of the range was sold out almost immediatly, New stocks arrive into Harkila very Early November, so if you want a piece or both, we would recommend placing your order now and get it on back order. They have loads coming in, but loads of back orders too. Full refunds from us btw if the next delivery is over subscribed or we can hold the order back until later.

Any questions as you know, we are open 7 days, 01525 211488 and online too.
All the best and happy hunting.
Andrew
PS the Spanish open their orchards up to the wild boar for windfalls to be snaffled up thereby making the meat a little sweeter, so they say....Jamon Iberico is a treat and some!

There must be a need for a Härkila boar proof hat then, to complete the outfit ;).

I don't know, I hunted wild boar, for a number of years, when I lived in Germany, and never heard of one hunter trying to kiss a boar. With that, how did the customer get a tusk mark on his forehead?
