Sako Finnfire P94S mag for under a fiver?

Hi, looks good - I can't wait! You might want to put a weight in the base of the 5 shot - my OEM 5 shot won't drop easily out when empty.

The base of the magazine is wasted space - I've designed it a bit different to the OEM. I've made it a solid block of Nylon but that might not be heavy enough for your purposes. I could take it out again and you could glue some weights in there, I suppose. It's no more complicated to produce different parts for people.

Good point - I will squash fishing weights for it - just one 40g bullet drops it out so I will weigh one and substitute the weight. On my current one I have a neat tab of black gaffer tape and that solves the problem.

You could fill the space with lead shot and epoxy or hot glue?

All very kind! Wishing I'd paid extra for the Express service now!

Seems that the magazine design isn't that complicated - the slot at the top needs to be wide enough to fit the rim in but narrow enough to stop the rounds springing out once they're pushed back. The Sako mag has the feed ramp built into the follower whereas the Weihrauch mag, for example, doesn't

I would be up for 1x10. 1x5. Also is the HW60j mag in .17 HMR?.

Yes, it is in .17HMR... haven't got a price on it yet as it's not finished being modelled but it's going to be a bit more (but less than the £55 of a metal one!). No guarantee it will work yet but I've hopefully strengthened it in places

I'd be interested in some, depends how durable they are.

Won't know until they arrive but I'll give them as must testing as I can. What rifle were you interested in? Weihrauch magazine looking like about £11.50 + P&P

I would love a ten shot please, if you could do the same for an Anschutz 1517 HMR I would give you the wife for an hour;)

How am I going to entertain her for the other 55 minutes (and that's assuming she wants a cup of tea afterwards in the first place)? I've had another request for the 1517 but don't have a magazine to copy. I'm just going to see how these ones perform before I expand my portfolio but will note your interest.

HW in .22lr please!

As above, I don't have a .22LR magazine as my HW60J is in .17HMR. I think the magazine is the same as the .22WMR. The .22LR magazine is completely different and I'm just a hobbyist - barely breaking even on these and that's without the time I've put into them!

P94S.
As you know the 10 shot is metal so I guess they made it from steel for a reason, perhaps the plastic they used for the five shot was not strong enough.
As it is the 10 shot tends to need tweaking to get the rounds to feed as the metal ears spring back after pressing and cause poor feeding.

Apparently you are to mow the lawn......

Looking at the Annie mag I think the wall thickness will be too thin, a base extension to the metal part of a four shot mag might work but will probably be too much work design wise. If the Sako mag works I can spare an Anschutz mag for you to look at.

All the best and what a great idea, Ben
