Wanted: Any contacts for hunting nr Cahors, France

As per title really. Does anyone have any good contacts near to Midi-pyrenees region? Hunting, stalking, shooting.......deer, pigs, game birds, vermin, whatever. I'd prefer to do a swap hunt but I don't mind paying, whichever really. I'd just like to do a day or two out whilst I am over there in October. I have accomodation sorted already but I don't speak much French so it would have to be with someone who is either very patient or who speaks some English. Anything considered.

Anyone who does a swap with Buckaroo8 will not be disappointed. I've done a number of swap hunts with him, everyone of them absolutely amazing, as well as him now being a good friend of mine.

Still no responses on here....not surprised, it was a long shot really. I was warned it would be a waste of time trying to find a hunt in that part of France. I'll probably end up going somewhere else instead.

I´ll be stalking roe bucks near Cahors the last weekend of July with a local, a good friend of mine. I will ask him and let you know. He's a great guy but doesn't speak a word in English. He might know some commercial shooting, hunting or whatever.

The Office National des Forêts runs certain estates where guided hunting is made available for a fee. Have a look at the interactive map: Chasses en Licence - Forêts Domaniales - ONF Chasse

There seem to be two areas near Cahors: Forêt Domaniale de Grésigne and Forêt Domaniale de Monclar https://www.chasse.onf.fr/domaine/foret-domaniale-de-monclar/

Thanks very much for that Pine Marten. I will attempt to contact them and see if it could work.
I would prefer to do a swap with someone in that region if at all possible but it's a bit of a needle in a haystack.

In case you are interested in (good quality) roe buck stalking - between 1.June and early October - I can offer you some opportunities in my 350 acre wood, halfway between Cahors and Rocamadour. Some wild boar too, but that's after 15.August.
