New stocks from GRS: Berserk Synthetic

they fit a dm m8

not hearing much about these stocks,,,, fibreglass pillar bedding , flex on the pod etc,,,not sure if i want to take off my bell and carlson full alloy chassis but twice as heavy than the beserk,,,

I have one on a T3 22-250 with varmint barrel and my mate has one on a T3 243 with a sporter barrel and we both really like them. We simply dropped the actions into the new stocks - no bedding used. The fore ends are stiff with plenty space between the barrel and the stock.
I've never had a Bell and Carlson stock so I can't make a direct comparison, but several people who have held these rifles with the Berserk stocks (including some who have rifles with GRS laminate stocks) have been seriously impressed by the product and gobsmacked by the price.

Cheers

Bruce

Thanks exmarksman,

Dave Wylde has just built me a .223clone of a 6.5x47 he built me last year. The 6.5x47 sits in a KRG Xray which I absolutely love for range use, but its no stalking rig and rather than buy another KRG i'm thinking the Berserk would give me flexibility to swop between rifles as required. Just need DM botom metal to suit now.

I asked if they fit DM rem 700 and was told from a supplier they do,,,although like the A5 stock i had to open up an inlet so to speak for the mag release,,,simple anough

image.webpimage.webpimage.webpThese photos are not as artistic as some but I did promise to post some of the final setup. The only thing I think it is missing is an adjustable height butt pad, which would allow for a better position in the prone. Otherwise, I am very pleased with it.

I just got one for my howa creedmoor and it just changed the rifle from a turd to I nice rifle and the accuracy has improved a lot from being in the laminate stock over all I cant say a bad thing about it ,I was looking into a bell and carson stock but they don't make them as nice as the grs bersek so I went with that and im very happy with it now well worth the money and they are a very good price for the money

Any updates on this, good or bad as I'm getting mine next week?

Not from me yet. They've recently released a version for the Tikka CTR though, so I'll be getting one as soon as I find one at a decent price.

Forgot to ask, which rifle are you putting it on?
