Following on from Alantoo’s very useful tip to use Coca Cola to free off the stuck leg in a set of Primos trigger sticks, I thought I’d share this with the masses.......
This stuff is bloody magic! Took 15 years of green n black stuff off my north facing frames and sills just like that. Way, way better than any of the specialist sprays and creams from the likes of Screwfix etc etc. It doesn’t degrade the surface and the glass was pretty clean too....

It was on special on Amazon at £2.50 a bottle when I bought some a couple of months ago and Wilco’s had it on special in the bigger store near me last year.

Less time cleaning windows, more time shooting.

Yep, the blue stuff in the squirty bottle.... think I used 2 bottles to do my 3 bed semi including the glass, I was using dishcloths to wipe it off and they got dirty prettty quickly so several of those are a good idea.

I did did mine last October and there’s no sign of the green or grime coming back yet.

Even cheaper option is to use liquid flash, mix up and put in spray bottle. Did my N facing fascias and windows last week.

Distilled white vinegar. Might smell like a chip shop for the afternoon but jeez that stuff is good. Since I started using it in the ultrasonic cleaner, it has become my go to cleaning agent for so many things. It is a bit like 0000 grade wire wool. You buy it for one application and it turns out it has many many uses that make life so much easier.
