Has anyone tried the new Haix boots?

HAIX UK, Official Onlineshop or the shorter ones?

Just about to get a new pair of boots and 99% set on Glockners but seen these and their other offerings are good (chainsaw) so curious.

Before anyone says it - no i don't want Deditos

I have a pair of Haix bought from an ex milsurp site apparently used on a parade ground ... mine still had labels on & were £55 delivered or thereabouts maybe a £5 extra for delivery ... in not using say in day out but hobbyist stalker & pheasant beating with mutts , but I wouldn’t hesitate in buying again especially if can get them st that price again

Dan

Don’t know anything about other ones sorry

But if anything like military ones they will be good

Used to wear Haix in the Police and loved them, also used the military version but recently had their scout hunter boots through work, great at first but only lasted 6months before they leaked like a Sive, even in wet grass, not only to me happened to all my colleagues too, got a second pair and they seem to be going same way!

Go for the glockners, used to use the Tibet forest for work, but the accountants got hold of them and the quality of the leather went through the floor - 12 months hard forestry use to less than 6. Swapped to Miendls and haven’t looked back.

Good on you for getting 12 months out of them. The leather perishes across the fold with me, that and ploughing through muddy brash pulling the winchline hammers them. If I get a wet winter they don’t properly dry out for a couple of months, not exactly the way to make boots last! Gone for Scafell lites this time round and 1 month in they’re comfy and dry

Not so much mud here but snow for 2-3 mnths.

Went with a pair of Zamberlan Kodiak

Seem quite good, tall and comfortable wearing them all day today.

New boots ever feel as good as the old ones but will see how they go.

Same as above buy 4 pairs for same as 1 of the top brands

unfortunately I found the seam rubbed the side of my foot and I gave them away. couldn't wear them. The Altberg boot, very similar but without the seam was brilliant.
