Blaser R8/Sauer 404 dealers

I am in the market to replace my current 6.5 x 55. I would like a composite, thumbhole stock and the potential for interchangeable calibres. I like the look of both the Blaser R8 Professional Success and the Sauer 404 Synchro XT. However, I live in Suffolk and I can’t find a Blaser/Sauer dealer closer than 4 hours drive away. Are there any dealers who would send a sample rifle to my local RFD ( Trulock & Harris in Framlingham) if I paid the return delivery charges?

Emailed Steve and he has taken the trouble - on a Sunday! - to send long and helpful reply. I’ve decided it’s worth the effort to make the long drive to Ivythorn, but thanks to Markfox and Zambezi for your advice.

Nearest Blaser dealer is The Country Store in Pampisford (Cambridge way), they also stock some of the lower end Sauers. Simpson Brothers in Peterborough also stock Sauer
