You dont see many blasers outside the blue oyster club!
anyone want to buy a blaser?
Does it misfire ??
OK, I'm gonna fall over myself............
3 million Blaser owners in europe alone and it's the same yank who completely overloaded/exceeded recommendations, and who sadly paid a heavy price for his irresponsibility/stupidity, who's sorry face we see in the pics. Proving?! that Blasers are a bag of sh!te...............
Is that it?
No conventional bolt action has ever catastrophically failed and blown a hand, face or head off?
One member of the forum has a misfire and that somehow proves ALL Blasers misfire, and of course ALL Blaser owners are tw*ts.

Brit your'll make yourself ill , Is there actually anything you approve of .
I thought about a Blaser K95, the break action single shot.
Until I realised the action was made from aluminium, I had a shotgun with an alloy action...
It was great for 4 weeks, then the steel breech insert came lose.
I'll stick to firearms made from steel I think.

Have you considered the Chapuis break action single shot, cannot recall the name they have for it but it looks a nice rifle and the Chapuis Dbls I have seen and handled were very nice indeed. Other than that then is a Ferlach or possibly the Brno if they still make the break barrel single shot. I believe these are all of steel construction.

I am interested to know what rifle you would recomend and for what reasons?
steve
I looked at a few, but in the end went with a CZ bolt action.

NO answer? Let me ask another question, what custom rifle could you by for the same price as a r93?

Well, to answer your first question; I quite like the Denel NTW-20.
Which should highlight the fact that your first question needed a little more in the way of context.
And to answer your second
Blaser discussion seems to deliver non-sequiturs: The R-93 isn't a custom rifle, quite the opposite, it's a mass-produced product of CNC tooling. In that context, I wouldn't have thought comparison with 'custom' appropriate or relevant.
....and I've already explained that in 2 instances I swapped them for Sauer 202s. Similar price range.
Out of interest, for those who are determined to see the R-93 thing as something to do with the politics of jealousy, anyone ever seen endless threads on Sauer 202 blow-ups or failures to fire?
Or Sauer 202 owners getting internet-angry because people don't like Sauer 202s?
Thought not![]()
