What’s the best cheese on a venison burger?

Where do you Stiltonians shop for your cheese? I have found that my local Tesco superstore has a reasonable selection.
It seems that one can purchase cheese online and get it delivered to your door these days!

Souldn't a good stilton be able to walk on its own ?? :)

There nothing quite like filling a nice tender and lean fur burger with a sausage full of man fat cheese lol, lol

stilton is cracking on beef burgers

Venison burger cheese? Well the ultimate has to be Veni Cheese!

Moose Cheese – Over 500/kg; US $300/pound
Produced in Sweden by the Moose House, this cheese is made only from the milk of Gullan, Haelga, and Juno. These three cows were abandoned by their mother and adopted by the Johannson family. Moose only lactate from May to September and require the most tender of handling during milking since disturbances can cause the animals to get flustered and dry-up. Each animal produces about 5 liters (1.3 gallons) of milk per day, so each year the farm can only offer 300 kg (660 pounds) of cheese. The cheese contains 12 percent fat and 12 percent protein.

Spectacular! your trivia game is strong.

Best has to be a venison and cheese toastie, Orkney cheese, served around midnight after a few drams. Nothing will taste as good !
(Hint, the more drams, the better they taste)

I’ve recently discovered Dolcelatte. It’s like a softer and milder version of Gorgonzola. Should be excellent on a burger.
I use a good quality Brioche bun, large fresh tomatoes, sliced finely and I used to have a great relish in a green plastic squeezy jar, I think it was called New York deli pickle or something like that but I can’t find it in Tesco any more. Will keep searching.
Gotta have a load of the french fries too!!
Sauer, I’m with you about the Beer, it is definitely the best beverage to pair up with a cheese burger. I like a few bottles of Corona Extra and Modelo Especial, chilled down really cold.
This all must be served Al fresco in the summer out on the freshly cut lawn.

If you like dolcelatte, try also castello, creamy and with a little bit more bite, not that I'm an advocate of the cheesy "burger muncher"

Chili Cheddar from Lidl, once you put that on a venison burger you'll nevdr go back.

But my typical burger is big mac sauce on the bottom(mayo, piccalilli , salt & sugar, vinegar, chopoed onions fine)
Then chopped lettuce, sliced beef tomato, burgers with cheese, sliced gherkin and chili jam or sauce on the top bun.

Some of this?
That’s an interesting article. Never realised that Donkey milk was a thing. $1800/kg for donkey cheese anyone?
$20,000 worth of milk a year off a single red hind? That’s in moose territory!
Not sure I’d want to try and milk a red hind though. I guess they’d get used to it with regular handling but it must be a lot of work.
Whatever next?
Muntjac cheese?
