Has Boris shot himself in the foot.

What will he do next........................After suffering a big defeat in the Commons, and taking the Whip away from 20+ Tory rebels, including the Father of the House Ken Clarke, and expelling them from standing as Conservatives in any upcoming election, which will leave him well short of any kind of majority, now or in the foreseeable future, and also threatening an Election, which will decimate his and most of the other parties, and bring untold turmoil to parliament for years...............................................and he has probably sunk any chance of Brexit in the near future.
Any Ideas......................he may be watching and need advice........

Try to see the inevitability of leaving the EU, the electorate will return leave supporting candidates when they stand in the vacated seats by the 'rebels'; even Philip Lee represents a leave constituency, they're hardly likely to vote Lib dem just because he has jumped ship, are they?

Just because the BBC want to change the will of the people, it doesn't mean that it will happen. Look ahead, the endgame is about to begin; even the EU ruled out extending Brexit just yesterday. Corbyn as PM? really?? Half of Labour themselves don't want that, let alone most of the country!

Option one: hes a genius who understands Brexit would be a disaster so has manipulated the situation to his advantage in that he has gained power but then engineered Brexit's demise whilst hanging on to his own Churchillian standing with the far right population (obviously ignoring the fact Churchill was pro Europe)

Option Two: He manipulated the situation to gain power and doesent relay give a toss if Brexit happens or not just so long as hes PM

Option Three: Hes an idiot who latched on to Brexit as a way to get the PM job but now he has it, he has no idea what to do with it.

Option 3 sounds about right!

I can tell you if private business moved at this glacial pace it is soon out of business. If a business said we are going to merge or demerge and it took 3 or more years everyone including the board would be fired.

AGREED! To be fair he's only been at the wheel a short time but in that time there's been more action than the three previous years.
I really want the guy to make it work half decently. Let's face it half the country don't want it half & do so that's the best we can expect from him. Cant help feeling he's set up as a fall guy, no matter how well he does or improvements we enjoy so many will focus on his negatives.
Best of luck Boris & to the grafting UK people

The remainer MPs seem to have done a fantastic job of removing the only bargaining tool the UK had with the EU, and if they get the law changed to prohibit leaving without a deal they will have destined the UK to have to accept whatever bones we are thrown. Whatever views you have of Bojo at least the guy is doing what any of us in industry would do, defend your corner and do not let the other side dictate all the moves.

Option four: He actually wants us to leave on a No deal
Option five: He's prepared to leave on a No deal in order to force the EU to give us a much better deal than they're currently offering

Hear, hear!

Option 4: Not even Borris is THAT stupid

Option 5: Mute point as the EU are aware that a no deal leave would be economic suicide. Bad for both sides but REELY bad for the UK. If we were to commit economic suicide the EU would be left with no choice but to nail us to the floor till we screamed and begged for mercy as a lesson to others who might consider it an option. Admit it, its what you would do if someone screwed you over? Its deffo what Id do.

The professionals in Parliament know all this, and they will stop him unless theres a general election and we vote him back in with a land slide

Id be happy, but the problem is the opposition party is also pro Brexit but with a deal that I fear will please no one and it has a leader so divisive its hard to say he will have enough support if he did get in to push forward a good economic deal

End result will be another hung parliament and week coalition government and brexit will drag on and on and on costing us billions and forcing us deeper and deeper into recession

Its a lose lose situation
