Last week this twin mole went past mine to start working on fields close by, one field later my phone went asking if I could have a look at the unit!
After a close inspection the 20 mm skid plates are know 10 mm!!

What do recon was the question? Order a sheet of 20mm was my reply and we can re-sole the mole lol

The first side took a good while to work out as always what you learn on the first one, have the time on the second...
Heavy bits like those can mess up you day so the fork lift played a useful part....

A bit to do in the morning then it will be out to work asap...

Hi Tim thinking of getting some targets made could you tell me where you get your hardox from please.

Any agricultural welding firms as they use it in wear parts for cultivator parts ( legs or wings )

It is not cheap but the 16mm is light enough. I have a bit of 25mm H500 on a swinging plate...

You can weld it so off cuts can be welded on to a back plate...

If you want to drill it then it will need heating ( cherry red) in the spot and left to cool.
