A long shot, but any assistance is greatly appreciated. I am looking for a syndicate position (full or half gun) around the North West of England.

There are a small number of vacancies for the 2020 / 2021 season on our small syndicate located 7 miles from Skipton North Yorkshire.


This is a beat one stand one shoot with some walked up shooting available in the early and late season. 15 days shooting (mainly Saturdays) 18 guns (2 teams of 9) 800 pheasant poults released £600 per gun plus a one off payment of £100 for a share of the quadbike and trailer.


The shooting rights cover approx. 2000 acres which is a mixture of woodland, moorland, grazed fields and rough ground. A good level of fitness is required as the land is anything but flat and there is some distance between some of the drives. A dog is required as we need to increase numbers. Novice shots welcome as everyone was a novice at some point. Access to the shoot is ok with care in a car down farm tracks so a 4 x 4 is nice to have but not necessary. Members will be expected to attend a minimum of 4 work parties between Feb and Sept and may have to feed once in July, after that the feeding is taken care of by the shoot captain.
