Bait station

I’m lucky enough to live on the shoot I keeper and my cabin looks out onto fields conveniently near one of my pens . For 10+ yrs now I’ve had a bait station 120 yards from my patio doors and taken foxs in every month of the year at every time of day so lasts nights fox was no different to the many before .
my pal collected venison and my girlfriend was leaving for her house and I just thought I’d do my usual and cook tea but have rifle ready and look out every half hour or so this I used to do with a lamp but with the advances in tech now use thermal just popping a window open and have the 22/25o set up ready to load on the table just open the patio doors !The bait had previously been tampered with as I could easily see a munty front end dragged from the security pin a few yards away .
sure enough as I was eating tea the dogs barked so I looked out and bingo foxy mooching around the bait ! Believe it or not I still get excited so calm myself down open the doors cycle bolt turn on pard and ir and a quick squeak ka boom foxy no more my Saturday night so much better than ant and dec for sure , the technology from when I first lived here 20 yrs ago has moved on so much what will happen in the next 2o I’m unsure if there will be shoots, foxs will definitely be about last nights won’t bother my bosses sheep due to lamb soon, I’ll be 70+ in twenty yrs and wonder how they’ll be tackled then ?
good hunting

I recon self laser ranging and distance compensating scopes may be the norm, put the dot on it, scope ranges and compensates for distance and even maybe wind ?

I have a similar set up but my landing window is the window i use, dont know how many foxs ive taken from there over the last 10 years, but at the end of the month im moving
and no shooting from windows , maybe the odd magpie with the air rifle, but jesus im going to miss foxing out of the window, so i compleatley understand your set up.

Update had a couple at my mates small holding only to find one on my bait when I got home no rest for the wicked eh !
