Hi
Spent many an evening in the early 80s in the Packhorse Inn on the Moors above Hebden Bridge. Frenchie Boy will know the place. They served fantastic William Younger's Scotch Bitter. Not too strong, very smooth so a good session beer.
A good pint of Tetley's Bitter took some beating too. A lot was down to how well it was pulled. Old school way before hygiene rules was to pull about 3 pints to get 1. The rest went over the glass and back into the barrel.
I drink very little now so I can only reminisce.
