In my heavy duty spring clean of shooting draws and cupboards I have

Found some things I forgot I had
Found some things I knew I had but could not find
Found some things that means I now have two of them
Found some things I don’t understand why I ever bought them

Others may be having similar experiences

Using my improved butchering skills from watching YouTube videos this is a boned out Fallow shoulder I got out of the freezer. I have stuffed it with fresh Rosemary, lemon Thyme Coriander and chopped garlic. Drizzle with olive oil then wrap up in tight parcel pour in bit of Cider and cook for 4 hours at 150C on a roasting pan in an inch of water, result Yum

As part two of my Fallow boned out shoulder in fresh herbs, was yum out of the oven and equally yum the next day reheated. Sad to say these are things I now look forward to doing rather than a “ chore now”

I ordered a see-through picatinny mount plus some quick change 1" rings for my Ruger 1022 scope. Ordered from the USA. It is coming no problem. So after sighting in (another thing to do) I can in the future easily swap between scope for vermin, or open sights for action shooting on the range.

Just needs the grill for the top or hanging off a chain for height adjustment .....
Add venison burgers & beer ... done
