Not sure why these keep popping up on my news feed, as I've never been trophy hunting, and don't subscribe to or follow any dedicated trophy hunting social media, but they do sometimes make interesting reading:

It is incorrect and a cherry-picking of facts to state that the International Union for Conservation of Nature has concluded that trophy hunting is inimical to conservation of wildlife in Africa. In fact, the IUCN has a clear policy of supporting sustainable use of wildlife, including hunting.

Sadly this country is ruled by the urban masses. As you know they visit the countryside and have yet to join the dots that spell out that the countryside is in fact a business, just a very pretty one. A blade of grass is stock, waiting to be turned in to produce, a stick is a bit of heat in a wood burner and not gas piped in from a foreign country. Many will not realise that the spinney they are enjoying covered with bluebells is called ‘Fox covert’ and as such was planted a long time ago for Fox hunting.
They are the blind that are being led down a dangerous path by so called ‘conservationists’. What is clear about the horde of banner waving, virtue signaling ‘conservationists’ is that haven’t got a f’in clue.
