Intruder alarm to BS4737, where to find alarms like this?

What are you wanting from the alarm?
There are multiple alarms to do the job is this just for firearms licence needs or for other issues?
Regards phil

Assuming this is from a HO security advice document.
Most of the references to standards are quite outdated.
I found the same when trying to spec a security door for a build. The approvals in the docs were obsolete by about 15yrs.

A question.
When specifying intruder alarms is it the same as with fire detection and alarm systems, does the standard required stipulate that the system be in installed fully in accordance with the required B.S./EN standard, or does it just specify the actual hardware involved?

only accredited companies to officially install to the standard as the system would need to be certified by the relevant company to confirm that the system meets the relevant standards
this should be detailed in the system Design Proposal and also what Grade the system would be and where applicable what grade signaling would be installed would be
i am not saying other people can not install to the standard but unless you are accredited you can not certify. there are point within the standard that stipulate the installation ie External Sounder (Bell Box) should be fixed using 2" 10 screws among other things

So very similar to fire detection systems then.
If an accredited installer is used does British Standards specify design, installation, and commissioning certificates should be issued?

Unfortunately the RAMS for the installation of a replacement PIR on the sites that we cover in 12 pages long
other sites where we have Engineers having to stop in Bomb Pits before entering sites are a little longer!!!
