Swarovski 6-24x50 P L - what's it worth?

Have got one of these which is surplus to requirements, it is boxed, with the scope covers, has target turrets & a dot reticle. The glass is good but a previous owner put some crimp marks in the tube which are cosmetic & don't affect the optics. It's sat on my 6mmBR at the moment but I'd like to swap it to a Zeiss Diavari 6-24 #63 reticle so I have the same on the BR as on the 6.5x47 - same sight picture, same elevation & windage adjustments, etc.

Anyone got any ideas of value please?

Thanks.

Cost me over £200 get the crimp marks fixed.
Secondly, the current warranty for these scopes is 10 years.
If you email Swarovski they will confirm its age and whether or not it's ever been repaired.

Do you know how they fix a crimp? Is it a case of a new tube or do they lift the crimp somehow? I have a leupold that i crimped with warne rings and it bugs the crap out of me.

start around the 700 mark if it dont sell reduces the price i find on here that a scope will find it own price its only worth what someone is prepared to pay and as been said condition is everything.

Appreciate that the crimping is going to hurt the value (unless I can enlist Muir's help to persuade people crimping makes it more accurate 🤣) & accept that's the case even though it has no bearing on the operation of the scope.

Rob - I'll PM you my bank details & if you transfer £500 into it I'll put the £499 change in with the scope in cash when I post it to you, I'm sure it'll still be there when it arrives at your end 😉 🤣🤣

Thanks JCS, I'm pretty sure it's over 10 years old as I've had it 3-4 years now but will try e-mailing Swarovski to get that info & maybe send them some photos of the crimping to see how much it'd cost to repair. Can then see if it's worth fixing or just sell 'as is'.

Cheers folks.

Last time I spoke with swaro reference a new tube they quoted about £240.....don’t know if that helps you any?

These are my favourite scope and all but one of my rifles wears one.
Price varies from £650 to £850 depending on spec.
Target crosshair with low turrets least desirable, br ret illuminated would be most desirable.
i paid £650 for a mint boxed uk one with low turrets and br ret.
I suspect that you will get interest from around £500
