Hi
I bought an item from a trade member on here over 2 weeks ago,and still not received it
The seller promised to pm tracking details last Thursday no PMS received,
And he has been posting on the forum since,
I pmd him yesterday still no reply,
Any advice, please
Al,

The service from royal fail has been terrible recently. But that doesn't excuse not sending tracking details.

Any advice, please
You could avoid the dirty washing thing, by post words to the effect. Does anyone know "xx"? I've been trying to get in touch about a outstanding purchase.

That way, if it turns out there is a legitimate reason for radio silence (c19?) then it's all still calm.

Have seen enough punters on this site slate sellers who have not kept good comms. or have delayed posting (for whatever reason).
It usually finds it's way to the surface and can, if you are not careful, leave you looking like a bit of a fool when you have "bad mouthed" folk.
Once you post and the 30 minute edit has passed, your rantings are there for eternity.

There is a lot going on in the world at the moment. Give folk some breathing space before you all start passing out pitchforks...

In usual circumstances you would be 100% correct but ignoring a customer that has paid you and been patient and then posting away on the forum knowing he is reading is a bit too much.

That's a really bad business attitude.

Yeah, I know we've all got problems, but as I've said the seller has been on the site since, so must have seen my pms,
Just narks a bit when they've taken your money and dont reply to PMS
Just common courtesy really,

Two weeks is too long, for the Trader not to bother communicating with the customer.

I don't like "naming, & shaming", it's a last resort, depending on the nature of the complaint, but eventually, you have no choice.

I would suggest messaging admin', and asking for their help, before going public.

It never ceases to amaze me, how daft trade sellers can be, when a few posts of bad publicity, can destroy their business, if people find the bad publicity, all too common !

A lot of folk blaming the post lately, but I’ve had no issues at all with one exception over Christmas which quite frankly anyone would accept. No comms is not right. It’s so simple to send a message, takes seconds, I hope this gets sorted soon.

No , don’t agree at all. This behaviour is unacceptable and poor practice...it takes one minute to send a message saying : item delayed, no stock, refund, or any other reason. No excuse at all for non communication if you are in the business of selling items to CUSTOMERS!
