Yes he’s always liked them as his dad a police dog handler had them as issue , neaversons not about any more so he thought he’d make one ! As he’s a joiner I think he may get a commission or two we have a treble neaverson On the shoot it’s over 20 yrs old

Yeh great kennel. But as a lab owner ( not sure about teckels) but I’d definitely put some aluminium angle on all chewable edges.

I put fine coat plaster bead on my kennels to stop chewing. It's cheap and easy to fit.

I bought my first kennel 34 years ago for £150. It's still going strong now. It's had preserver on it most years and the the roof covering has been replaced a few times but that's about it.

Nice job.
It's very similar to the one I still have which was police issue about 20 years ago.
It survived being dismantled and reassembled for a house move which was down to using coach bolts to initially assemble it instead of screws.
I did go to a scrapyard years ago and picked up some aluminium angle bar to cover all the edges which, already mentioned, were getting chewed.
Still has one of my spaniels in it but I have now added a greenhouse heater as he getting on a bit and likes the heat. I've came out in the mornings and I can see the pattern of the heater guard on his coat!
There is definately a market for these kennels at sensible money.

Anyone ever had a dog dig out, I know a bit of weld mesh would cure it but just curious. They look great and wish I’d got the GWP used to one when he was a pup think it’s a bit late now

I’m baby sitting my boys staffy (nearly a year ) she goes out during the day I did keep her in the boot room during the winter and night time but no more central heating for her 24/7
