SNP - The vultures are circling

Soooo, just when you and they, thought it was all over the “Polis” have launched a full investigation into how the £666,000 of donations to the Krankies to support independence has shrunk by 2/3rds in 2 years. This on the back of:-
“MP Douglas Chapman quit as SNP treasurer, saying he had not been given enough financial information to do the job, and fellow MP Joanna Cherry quit the party's management board amid a row over "transparency and scrutiny".
Now call me old fashioned but methinks there is something rotten in the state of Krankieland. If the guy charged with minding the party’s purse is being prevented from doing his job and one of the party’s management board jumps ship there must be a smoking gun or two knocking about.
I am again reminded of the report on the vast overspending in Never, Ever Land aka Holyrood when the chap charged with investigating it wrote, after interviewing everyone including the parliamentary cat, that the hallowed halls resounded to the cry “it wasnae me!”.
Wot fun is looming. Watch this space!

To the Indy movement, it's a war. As such, they seem to feel that anything is justified, and they barely manage to maintain any facade that they are operating as a government with a responsibility to all the people in Scotland, let alone the UK.
The sooner they are torn apart the better.

Indeed. I shall be toasting marshmallows when the flames take hold
Yep. What I don’t quite get is the Treasurer post is a key post in any party and usually a powerful one too so for the incumbent to be “prevented” from doing his job kinda points to those few married postholders above him. This would suggest that the party really is a little fiefdom or do I mean dictatorship?
Round and round the finger of blame goes, where it stops…. probably will come as a surprise to no-one!

At the moment the idiots in the SNastyP are throwing cash at the NHS to try and present themselves as the party with the biggest heart...... What they forget to mention is that this money and all the rest that has been splashed around is a direct transfer from the United Kingdom Exchequer and all this money has been supplied specifically for the Covid 19 epidemic. Sadly the NHS in Scotland is still in a parlous state and allowing a party who can "lose" £600 K isn't exactly reassuring.... Still, when you've got a tame press who seem to be unable and unwilling to do a bit of digging into the whole shambolic SNP you can't really be surprised any more......

Bruce is right, the SNP appears to have managed to infiltrate the whole of civil society to such an extent that nobody will dare attack them.

When the crown office and procurator fiscal are “in house” do you really think that anything will come of this? This is laughably easy to get off with. The £600k that has been spent will have partially been spent on the last election, which can be considered as part of the drive towards a second referendum. All other activities can be counted as the same. As far as I know, there was no small print saying that donations were exclusively for spending once the date of a second referendum had been called. They will walk away from this with no real consequences.
The interesting part of this is that the snp are broke. Lotto winner Colin Weir, who financed the last referendum, is brown bread and had fallen out with the party before his demise anyway. Previous donor Tom Hunter is not giving them donations any more. They can’t afford a second referendum at the moment, which is possibly why sturgeon is putting it off as long as possible. Time to call her bluff? With the state of the electorate at the moment and their hatred of boris, I’d rather not take the risk.

There was much more juice in the Alex Salmond affair. the SNP party chief executive, his wife and her female lover will be exposed one day but not 'today' methinks

Yes they are shitting themselves. Current treasurer or lacky said "as we are an Independence party all the funds we raise are spent on campaigning for independence"

Oh dear, his bum is obviously oot the windae

Unfortunately the bulk of the electorate in Scotland is in the central belt, are easily distracted by flags, and support....and always will..those who will do untold damage to rural Scotland and fieldsports, for no other reason than that they hate us. No matter the incompetence of the SNP, there seems to be little chance of ousting them. The best chance is that hubris will allow them to destroy themselves.

Implosion of the movement, by our tendency as a nation to be small minded inbred villagers, backstabbing and infighting, could be the medium to long term game the rest of us can fuel.

I will dance a jig if this is the end of the SNP however I fear it will not be - too slippery and slimy and Sturgeon is an expert at dodging bullets….but I still live in hope!

a horrible dividing sh*te of a party - they have done nothing but people gate hatred and division…the same as most nationalist movements. Sure a certain member will be along in a minute to comment…🙄

regards,

Gixer
