Natural history quiz (for the not so bored).

OK, here's a few:
  1. Of the salmon family, which fish is endemic to only four lakes in the Lake District?
  2. The last native Wolf in England reputedly met its end where ?
  3. Small silly bird, found only in the Caledonian forests of Scotland?
  4. Deciduous aromatic shrub of wet ground, considered to be a natural midge repellent?
  5. Longest-lived butterfly in Britain?
I'm away fishing for a few hours ...back at dark oclock.

Killiecrankie is in Scotland. Scottish Crossbill is endemic to the Caledonian forests too ...but its not silly ...just cross lol.

Levigsp you got 2,3 and 4
Far as i know there are 8 waters in the Lake District holding Char ...close, but its not Char

Both think again re the butterfly. Hint, its one of the earliest to emerge in the spring. Monarch is a rare immigrant to the Uk and i was thinking more UK native.
