Good question: corona viruses enter humans via the mouth, eyes, nose. Their RNA are met and engage with our natural immunity in ways that patently different to that which occurs via IM injection.

And note that in the case of adenovirus vaccines, the paper is addressing genomic assimilation of DNA, not RNA.

Regardless, Doerfler's call for recursive monitoring of vaccinated persons stands.
