the clinic is a private pharmacy, set up by a non medically trained young guy who saw a gap in the market. He told me he hopes to retire in about five years. At 40!

very switched on, we have had a couple of chats, he said he does not need to be medically trained, he just has to know how to run a business and employ the right, medically trained, staff.

They keep saying with every variant it's more infectious, how much more infectious can it get?
I don't think lockdowns are the way to go as the past year etc has shown. I'm not a covid denier only a fool would be but personal responsibility and common sense goes a long way in this.

I have not met anyone fitting that description.

But thankfully the number of folk who realise that this endemic virus, whatever its provenance, is not mitigated by masks and lockdowns.
And that it is 99.96% survivable, even in countries with negligible access to vaccines.

If the cases that we are seeing are clustered around Glasgow (as they are) and they have been seen in people who have not travelled, then where have the cases of the new variant come from? There hasn't been some sort of major conference in Glasgow with delegates from around the world recently, has there?
I do wonder whether Scotland will be locked down once again over Christmas. Bring it on, I say! Whilst I get on very well with all members of my family, sitting together for an entire day does get a bit much and in previous lockdown Christmas's we've eaten lobster thermidor followed by fillet steak, rather than prawns and smoked salmon followed by turkey.

Ah thanks, thought I could be missing out, only thing I bother with on pw is classified as over time there’s been some nice British shotguns for sale for sensible money (true value) by private sellars.

Well, tbf fair there were some gooduns but they deffo have a clique there.
Mungler used to be quite a funny guy…not sure if he’s still on there…haven’t been on there for years…
