Omicron

You sir, are a selfish arrogant idiot with absolutely no concern for your fellow human beings.
You describe a pandemic which has killed almost 150,00 people in the UK and over 5 million people worldwide as a hoax - what evidence have for that outrageous statement.

Bruce
It hasnt killed 150,000 people!
Almost 150,000 have died with covid not because of covid.

Just an observation but I think round here by me the Dunkirk Spirit has taken over,
I think everybody has stopped believing everything they’re told about this pandemic and are just getting on with their lives as they did before it all.
I’ve just come out of a huge Tesco and I only saw two people with masks on, not even the staff are wearing them, not a single one.
Two fingers from Yorkshire it seems.

A lot of people I speak to called it a day when the WHO said actually the vaccines not a vaccine and it doesn’t stop you giving it people, Yorkshire folk are like, “Well that’s bloody rubbish then”
No spike in deaths round here and this attitude has been going on a while so make of it what you will.

I think everybody has stopped believing everything they’re told about this pandemic

I recently flew to Namibia via Addid Ababa.

Mask wearing in Heathrow? Intermittent. I.e. many I saw told to put it on by staff x, off five mins later. And as for each of the four Airbuses I was on...well...I must have been one of the 10% wearing a mask

Addis Ababa airport? What is a mask? Or where it was worn it was under the chin to show some compliance.

Clearly this virus has taken lives. But the problem is that the folk on the ground do not believe the rhetoric anymore. Experientially in Africa, I was told, this has been like flu. There have been some outliers [folk who did not fit the flu-susceptible model], but attrition does not match measures.

No. That’s pure nonsense.

It has a lot of mutations, which may have arisen because it spent time in an immune compromised host (ie. HIV positive), but there is no evidence of HIV or flu genes in it.
How do you think a virus obtains it's mutations then? Give me your thoughts I'm really interested in your arguments against the articles author here? 🤔🤔

He was a local lad (Ashford) to me, went to many of his concerts in Kent. Great music in its day.

I met his brother who had opened a small tea shop in Deal near King Street he said he moved his cafe operation every 9 months to avoid HMRC hassles, this would have been in the early 80s.
