Derbyshire Police Rural Crime Team have seized approximately 30 firearms

I note the article does not give any “Examples “ of “evidence and reasons” for removing guns from FAC/SC holders, also 30 guns could be 30 certificate holders or half a dozen guys with high numbers of guns. The whole thing seems woolly as an article, all of us who hold certificates have a responsibility regarding our behaviour both in the real world and online

I’I follow Derbyshire rural crime Facebook page and have had several issues with there posts over the last twelve month there seams to be a high interest in attacking shooting and field sports from. There policing team a recent one showed a picture of a dead rabbit and a raptor dead beside it this was a placed interpretation of rural crime which was used to educate local children of rural crime . Yet I would hazard a guess that statistics suggest theft and criminal damage etc would make a far far bigger percentage of rural crime and they then choose to use an image on social media to blacken shooting
. The above mentioned post there may of been suitable grounds to seize firearms but why now is my question I’d guess the average shooting man / woman would have four guns so for arguments sake they have taken guns from 6 people this carnt be just new info for the police it appears to tie in with Derbyshires agenda to blacken shooting

Been waiting about 6 months now for a land clearance and not even an acknowledgment to a follow up email….. still waiting…..
