After taking my Cocker out on what turned out to be a balmy -3c on the marsh this morning I think I just about got away with it. Can anyone recommend a vest to help keep him warm as he and I were frozen. Ta

Working Vizslas, its VERY difficult to find one that fits their deep chests. The wife tailored one several years ago to fit our 4th Vizsla but our 5th Vizsla has just shredded it. In the interval, my wife has upped her sewing game and is not allowing neoprene anywhere near them :banghead: Anyone know of a good source for Vizsla/GSP-shaped dogs?

I've got a Decathlon one. Pretty adjustable and always kept the dog warm which was prone to shivering and whining.

These got good reviews on the Viszla working group

I have a riverswest for my Labrador. It’s made of the same fabric materials as their coats with the same pattern and has buoyancy strips in the back where it zips up. They are really good but I’m unsure If they make them any more. 👍

Jack Pyke do a good one quite thick 5mm neoprene suits my Vizsla with the less wirey coat.

Dokken also do a good one slightly thinner 3mm neoprene bit more flexible and suits my Vizsla with the wirey coat.

Heres the Dokken one taken while out wildfowling on the Severn.

Interesting - our experience was that the Jack Pyke ones were way too baggy around the neck and withers and too tight on the Vizsla chest. I’ve apparently just ordered the only Orange Camo Hurrta Working Vest in the UK (thanks @Terrydeer - still soooo tempted by your Merkel;)) so will report on sizing. As always, the chest is in the next size bracket up (XL) but that makes the rest of the sizes too big.

Oh dear - posted the question up on the FB
Working Vizsla Group page and this is the first response I get back. 🤞 I have not bought a “chocolate fire guard”😬
