US Shot Show 2022

Don't think (m)any people on SD are going to have the required industry endorsements to attend SHOT.

It's not open to the public IIRC?

Do you mean Klaus Pickert? I spoke to him a few days ago.

The very man. We went to the Wannamaker Oklahoma Autumn show in 2019 together then I toured him through NM. What they offered there to sell to two non residents (illegal to buy as you need 3 months residency first) was unbelievable.

Just back from Shot Show and the Safari Convention in Las Vegas.
After IWA being cancelled for two years and maybe a third we decided to travel to USA and actually attend an exhibition not only... talk about one. Was absolutely fantastic, all companies that attended made huge effort. All said less volume of traffic but high quality visitors (for business). We met the right people, had very good meetings with top staff of larger companies that we never achieved as easy at IWA.
Show is very big, after the second day due to meetings we had covered maybe 1/4. Never went to any outdoor events and used the third day for meetings as well as a run through the last hall.... they are huge. Quite a few companies did not attend, business was as usual meaning those that did not attend did not do themselves any favours, purchases were made from those that attended. No Shot show last year meant especially international companies needed to urgently purchase goods.
We skipped the forth day of the shot show and rather had a look at the Safari convention also held in Vegas. Heym had one of our stocks on display.

Pictures from Shot Show, were just too busy to take pictures.

plenty of these type displayed

the second son, he has his meister prufung is with Bix’n Andy in Kufstein helping to make their custom rifles, they even drill and cut the rifling in house. Was good to see them all, as the kids I have known since they were born. They call me Onkel Martin ha.
He showed me the German Precision Optics scopes which was created by some ex S&B employees in 2015 engineered in Germany made in Asia then shipped to Their company in Germany where they all get fully checked before shipment, their prices were around 550 Euros for a x50 scope seemed a very good image, and the side mounted light point switch has a parallax wheel built into it also.
