For sale 5x brand new and totally unused Hatsan 12G V3 chokes (with 4 chokes tubes...one came already in the gun).

Cylinder - steel proof
1/4 - steel proof
1/2 - steel proof
3/4
Full

Never had a shot through them as I had some flush chokes already. Slightly extended and screw fit. Not interchangeable with V1 and V2 chokes/barrels so please check first.

These are £15 each online. Will sell for £50 the lot plus £5 P&P (uk only). Thank you

One of my friends has just bought a second hand Escort that didn’t come with chokes so he’s on the hunt for a set. Do you know how to tell which version the gun is? Cheers

Sound advice from BC, thank you.

In a nutshell (and regardless of being extended or flush) V1 chokes have the thread at the rear of the choke, ie down the barrel. V2 chokes have the thread at the muzzle end and will either be marked V2 or more commonly, no V number. V3 chokes have the thread at the muzzle end again but are always marked V3 on the side.

However, just realised it doesn't really answer your question as you're looking to ID the gun not a choke. A little poke with a finger will show immediately if it's V1 (the thread will be right at the end of the muzzle, like a Beretta Mobil). Not sure how to tell if the gun takes V2 or V3 though as I believe its just the thread that's cut differently. Would be happy to send one for him to test fit if he was interested enough?

Ill speak to him and get back to you - I honestly can’t think if it’s actually got one choke in it so he might be able to tell from that.

It did have a choke in but it’s looking V2 if I’m understanding your explanation correctly. It’s a flush Modified choke and he says it has no V number marked on it
