Anyone noticed a change since stripey numbers were reduced?

Wasn't it the Wiltshire zone that had an attendance within a briefing session, by anti's & they actually video recorded the whole briefing?
Wouldnt surprise me , we always had very tight security at our meetings , often only given the location an hour beforehand.

A Transit van of pretty fresh vintage had every single item of glass busted out one night, so I would contend that is pretty much contact.
Where as down here after a bit of grief in terms of presence and traps smashed, a badger was 'allegedly' put into an anti's vehicle as a nice surprise for when they got back from causing trouble.

Well that's one he didn't get paid for then?
You must have that many down there you can afford to leave some out as 'gifts' 😄

Ours start date was given out on GWR as part of some freedom for information act .Good one .Every unwashed in the area piled out that night .The smell of petunia oil was overpowering in the lanes .
Still annoyed i never bagged a drone tbh .
They we’re thick though ,trying to get across wet fields in a Nissan micra .We had a chuckle that night 🤭😁

I love this thread, many moons ago I had 🦌poachers in a group but operating as individuals at night. After having captured four with one mate's assistance they were left hogtied on a wide grass verge and the authorities phoned a couple of hours later, to collect them, with a clue as to where their guns were hidden. Would have loved a bit of fun with these antis in my younger days.😂

A mate of mine caught a poacher up one of his high seats. I say up it, he was hanging upside
down with a broken leg in the ladder.

My buddy obviously did the right thing and called an ambulance and the police, though he took a bit of time first to explain to the poacher the error of his ways, whilst he hung there.

Was fun to be had sir .I still laugh at what my mate said to one of the darling ladies who spat at him then walked away .
“Do you keep parrots by any chance ,cos you walk like you’ve had a cockortwo “ even her two mates laughed 😁😁😁

Yes .Farmers are definitely passing the TB test and not being shut down .One or two clowns who refused to join the scheme keep going down though that’s the problem. From personal 1st hand information from Cheshire ,Staffordshire and Derbyshire culls.Best thing that’s happened for ground nesting/living wildlife in 30 years.

Highest population of wild English partridge I’ve seen locally since I was a kid. Counted a covey of 39 the other day.

Lapwings doing well, hedgehogs re-appearing and have seen a stone curlew locally….

That’s from land that I know is involved
