Been to the stalking show today well set out plenty to look at was going to spend a fortune on gear 😂but unfortunately the WiFi went down so was cash only hope they got it sorted trader's will be pulling their hair out

I had great day there yesterday.
As a first attempt I'd say it was a huge success.
The WiFi problem was a problem until someone gave me the password to the Show Ground's WiFi. 😁
I'll be going again next year. 👍👍👍

We went on Saturday and thought it was a very good show. Got some non lead 80 grn bullets from Ed and haggled a very good deal on a big bottle of Bore Tech copper remover. It was good to see a large range of thermals and I was very impressed by the Pulsar Axion 2 XQ35 super image quality and over £1000 cheprer than my original XQ 38 which is now 6 years old. Fortis were very helpfull and it will be a trip down to the factory shop.

Overall very good and will go next year.

Couple of issues: terrible mobile reception in the hall and no cash dispenser. Many traders only able to take cash so credit to one trader who was happy and trusting to accept a bank transfer.

I mooched around the show hoping to find powder ........ only found about 3 stalls with any and of course not the type I needed. Bought some stick-on dot tagets for sight checking, a dog whistle, and a doughnut. Not being in the market for a new rifle, a new scope, a thermal something-or-other, more clothes or boots, or a burger from a stand that stank so bad (burning onions ? ) that my clothes reeked of it until they went in the machine next morning, there wasn't too much there to get my juices flowing TBH.

What type of doughnut did you go for :D

I think you have to go with an item in mind or you wander about aimlessly possibly buying stuff you regret .I wanted a decent chest saw and got one ,a face veil roll up mask ,got that .Met a few lads and chilled in the bar talking shite .Good day tbh .

My wife and I plus dog traveled down for a weekend break, we went on the Saturday and enjoyed browsing and meeting up with friends, didn’t buy to much but it was worth the trip down, well done the organisers 👏

I wish we could turn the clocks back to the early 80’s and revisit what use to be called “Pistol 19XX” at Bisley.

Enough powder & primer to make Guy Fawkes feel at home and the chance to purchase any number of interesting rifles and a Dirty Harry compliant 44 Ultra Mag!

Excellent show that has been needed for years and seemed to be well received by the punters. I hope it grows and prospers. Well done team.

Yes mate, still have the landy. 36 years old now and still going like a dream. Still kitted out as a mobile high seat. I am now nearly 83 but still able to stalk a bit and wildfowl in the easier parts. Getting a bit slower but that's to be expected. Mooching is probably the right word for it. But, and this is the main thing, I still thoroughly enjoy being in the field with dog, rifle or shotty and nobody else. Perfect peace. Got a wild boar down in the Forrest of Dean last autumn and that was exciting. I did enjoy the show and it was nice to catch up with a few old friends again after Covid. Take care.
