Been to the stalking show today well set out plenty to look at was going to spend a fortune on gear
but unfortunately the WiFi went down so was cash only hope they got it sorted trader's will be pulling their hair out
There were a lot of those "inovations" for sure!!Did see a few “innovations“to catch the stalker rather than the deer .Enjoyed the show though ,well done organisers .
What type of doughnut did you go forI mooched around the show hoping to find powder ........ only found about 3 stalls with any and of course not the type I needed. Bought some stick-on dot tagets for sight checking, a dog whistle, and a doughnut. Not being in the market for a new rifle, a new scope, a thermal something-or-other, more clothes or boots, or a burger from a stand that stank so bad (burning onions ? ) that my clothes reeked of it until they went in the machine next morning, there wasn't too much there to get my juices flowing TBH.
The most important question of the day!! I like my donuts ala Bob marley- wi'Jammin!!What type of doughnut did you go for![]()
Hi Ben , you still got the old landy ?Excellent show that has been needed for years and seemed to be well received by the punters. I hope it grows and prospers. Well done team.
Yes mate, still have the landy. 36 years old now and still going like a dream. Still kitted out as a mobile high seat. I am now nearly 83 but still able to stalk a bit and wildfowl in the easier parts. Getting a bit slower but that's to be expected. Mooching is probably the right word for it. But, and this is the main thing, I still thoroughly enjoy being in the field with dog, rifle or shotty and nobody else. Perfect peace. Got a wild boar down in the Forrest of Dean last autumn and that was exciting. I did enjoy the show and it was nice to catch up with a few old friends again after Covid. Take care.Hi Ben , you still got the old landy ?
