6.5x55 gameking load data.

Does anyone have any load data for Sierra gameking 130 grn in 6.5x55... I am asking for a friend who's using N160 and also Hornady superformance.
He has a shed load of these two powders so i don't require any info on other powders.

Assuming you mean 6.5x55SE/SKAN rather than the “Swedish Mauser” a moderate 45 gns of N160 (42.1-47.1gns for the next heaviest bullet) loaded as long as you like but do be aware of their slightly annoying habit of not cycling because the hollow point can catch. That is why I have moved to Sierra‘s fabulous 130gns Total Game Changers, brilliantly accurate and drops them all in their tracks.

N160 (data on viht’s website) will work just fine, just be aware these are a thicker jacketed game king so designed for deep penetration on medium to large US game, they are harder than the 120 prohunter or 140 game king. So if you don’t push the speed and/or are only shooting smaller deer you may find them a bit hard.

The 130 gr game changer is a plastic tipped bullet but you asked about the 130 gr game king which is a a hollow point bullet…..

‘Game changer ’ then, which is a tipped game king. The 130 game king is a hollow point, I think they share the same thick jacket though.
