Self catering cottage pet charges

Luckily I had a friend with a holiday cottage a couple hours from where I was so after a quick call I pointed the nose toward it and told them to poke the booking along with the stalking I had booked as well 🤣

It was in fair fine shape at my last visit, that was also a couple of years back now
If you had stalking booked along with the cottage, that is a frankly unbelievable attitude on their part

It was a **** poor show, but. In fairness to the stalker who was taking me out (and also left with the task of breaking the news) he tried his hardest to sort it, and even offered to pay the difference himself out his own pocket and kennel my dogs for me which was some gesture, but not down to him to fork it out, I hold no malice to the stalker at all as he was put in an awful situation, it was the management of the estate that was shocking and he agreed and promised to have a sit down with them and iron out the running problems

Ive booked a week in the lakes and had to pay for the dogs, personally i understand the extra charge because of the potential cleaning required after some inconsiderate dog owners.

As you say, good on the stalker for trying to resolve things, but shame on the estate for putting him in that position.
