The Dortmund show is from Tues 7th till Sunday 12. June, is anyone heading over there? FYI Germany government has brought in a 9 euro ticket that is good for the whole month to obviate the high fuel costs. Just saying.

Hi Bavarianbrit yes I'm going, flights booked 50 Euro return Dublin to Dusseldorf, and hopefully the 9 Euro train ticket.
Looking forward to the show 40th anniversary I believe.i was at the last one before Covid. Loved it, so much to see, and hopefully get a bargain.

The 9 Euro train ticket is a season ticket that is valid all over Germany but not on intercity trains for the full month so you will only need to buy the one ticket when you arrive, its good on all buses and trams too (except the national express types like Flixbuses). Rishi Sunak could take a tip from this.
