Does anyone know if a beretta DT10 either comes hp steel proof or has no issues passing proof?
I havent bought one yet so cant check. Mainly wanted for clays, but would also to be a high bird gun in the welsh hills.
A DT10? No fleur-de-lis marking on mine, so not good for HP steel. Standard steel sure.
Was having a chat with the guys at Dickson's, I naively assumed it was a barrel pressure thing but its about vast increases in thrust pressures and loads so they had to have a redesign. I will not be chancing it after that.
DT10 s are ok for 3” lead but standard steel 23/4” 32g
However some of the last ones may be HP 3” steel proof, but for £150 you can have HP tested at the proof house and it will pass no problem
