Bramble proof trousers

I am finding my current seeland trousers frustrating! I have a load of bramble thorns embedded in the lower leg area and they just won’t go! This means I am constantly being jabbed by the wretched things. What trousers have people found to be resistant to them without wearing wax over trousers!

Leather, great for this and gorse, but be careful where you go in public….. you tend to get odd looks! (Apparently).

Wax chaps keep the thorns away but let you bits breath, then when you have finished for the day give them a quick scrub to get the blood etc off and your trousers are still clean.
I also wear a apron when graloching so don't go home in a mess.

Decathlon own brand trousers do very well. I used to wear the wax chaps but now the green shooting trousers are first choice.
And only 26 quid a pair .
