Best eaten straight out the tin, cold, with a spoon, just as with baked beans. Yet you tell people that's what you often do and they look at you with a mix of unbelieving and disgust. "Why," says I, "Isn't that how everybody eats them?"

And another thing? Why do they give out Nobel Prizes for this, for that, for every other thing yet never to the man or woman who invented the ring pull tin of baked beans or spaghetti nor the suitcase with wheels on the bottom?
