You hear this a lot, meopta also use schott glass, but the grinding and coating are different on the end productExcellent value for money, worth mentioning that they use schott glass lenses, same as many high end manufacturers such as Swarovski.
Agreed, I have both Swaro and Minox glass and the Swaro certainly has the edge with more lens processing, but it ought to for what it costs. My comment was really related to how they have a good base component in common. Minox is hard to beat for the money and certainly doesn't feel like a huge compromise at what must be 25% of the price of Swaro/Zeiss/Leica et al. The big fancy names are all superb but are they 4 or 5 times better? I say not, its just down to how much you're willing to pay with the law of diminishing returns in charge. You hear this a lot, meopta also use schott glass, but the grinding and coating are different on the end product
Have the ZX5i on .223 and .243. Cracking scopes for the money and out perform what they are worth. Work well with NV add on too.

I have two. Both hold zero very well. Even after putting them through things they shouldnt. What many forget is the fact that scopes are aiming devices which first and foremost, must hold zero.
Swarovski fall at the first hurdle.
Eh? Swarovski scopes don't hold zero? What many forget is the fact that scopes are aiming devices which first and foremost, must hold zero.
