Tikka M595 stock

Looking at replacing the standard walnut stick on my M595 in .223.
Preferably a synthetic style stock maybe with adjustable cheek piece.

What do yous recommend. I don’t mind some small fettling to get them to fit.

Cheers

Sadly, you don't have many options, mcmillan do an inlet for the m595 but many don't as its an old action (still my favourite), the advantage you do have is, its a flat action so adjusting another will depend on your diy ability, I once had mine fitted into a choate ultimate sniper stock. If you go down the laminate route you have more options with boyds and richards microfit offerings. Not 100% but I think SSS will do the inlet but charge extra for it

It's taking far too long due to other more important things like going stalking, oh and work, getting in the way but I'm in the process of modifying a GRS stock for a Howa 1500 to take a Tikka M595. Will get back on it in the spring I expect once I'm off the fallow & have shot a few cull roe bucks & have time to stay at home & tinker!

I did the same. Bought an M595 bog standard synthetic stock and tarted it up myself, added adjustable cheek piece and done. Cost me about £160 inc buying the stock. And I am no DIY expert.

I have an M595 in .22-250 and bought a laminate thumbhole stock from Edinburgh rifles on here a few years back.

I have bought from Boyds before and they do good stuff, just about to purchase a GRS Beserk stock for another tikka so looking forward to how that feels and performs.
The bears has rubber grips compares to the bifrost.

Be interesting to see how it goes bud

Yeh, I’m thinking of going the Boyd’s route.
I was going to get a Boyd’s before for my CZ455 but I never ever did.
