I am looking for advise on which is the best value game lader, I know about cool game but they are expensive, are there any alternatives, I would be putting 1-2 fallow at a time no bigger required
Thanks in advance

Can’t get more thrifty and effective than a second hand coke fridge. Second hand commercial stainless steel fridges are more robust and deeper, if possible get one with the compressor at the bottom instead of the top. 👍

Thanks for the compressor advise makes sense

I picked up a used Gram fridge from an old chicken shop near me that was having a refit.
It will take up to 2 roe but 2 fallow might be a squeeze.
All I needed to do was to araldite some T brackets onto the sides by the top shelf rail to stop my hanging rail from moving (all the weight is on the shelf rail) and give it a damn good clean.
Cost me £90 and works a treat getting 2 carcasses down to desired temp nice and quickly.

2 fallow take up quite a space...get a lumpy picket and big doe they want a bit of muscle getting them.
I would look for 2 coke fridges as you only need run one if you shoot one if the bigger units are a cost concern.
I have had 2 fallow in a coke chiller but you need a mate to get them in.
