NV and thermal demo evening in Aberdeenshire, Friday 10 March

Ythan Field Sports is pleased to announce that there will be a NV and thermal demo evening at Newton House on Schivas Estate near Ellon, Aberdeenshire on Friday 10 March commencing at 7pm
There will be wide range of NV and thermal products from Pulsar, HIK, PARD and Senopex available to handle and look through
Tea, coffee and advice will be freely dispensed
So, whether you are an old hand in the NV/thermal world and are looking to upgrade your existing kit or want to get into the wonderful world of NV and thermal, we hope we'll have some kit that you find interesting and maybe useful

Obviously weather can effect a night such as this, but we will be serving teas and coffee in a large covered function area which, if necessary we will convert the upstairs part of into a long darkened room so that NV and thermal kit can still be used

I went along and it was good to get a look through alot of different equipment. I use a T-Ceptor 55-3 and axion XQ38 and just wanted to see what else there is on the market because there’s not much opportunities like these. For the money the Hik Thunder TQ50 was the best scope there. I’d been considering a S10 because there’s been alot of talk about them but I wasn’t really that impressed after looking through it. The Hik raptors were something special but the binocular style isn’t my cup of tea for a thermal spotter.
