Wondering if anyone has any fallow antlers they wish to part with for a lab to chew on instead of my garden shrubs … has an obsession with chewing twigs and yes I am trying to stop her ha !

What do you recommend then ? I was under the impression fallow and reds are the ones ?Don't reccomend it, too hard for the dog's teeth.
Part of my dogs staple is chicken carcass. It's only when cooked it's a problem because it turns brittle. When raw, they're very softantlers, well, the exterior layer,,there's probably a fancy term for it, splinters...which is about as bad as you can get for internal organs. would you feed your dog chicken bones, duck bones, etc.
dogs will do fine on venison, you just need to ease them in to it, mix some with what ever you normally feed.Thank you all ! Yes I do feed mine raw chicken from time to time . Will try non load bearing bones , last time the cocker had some venison it was like someone lit a brown rocketthought it might be too rich for him ..
Wild that they cost that much, and the market never gets flooded either... its weird.Giving your dog shop-bought antler rather than leftovers from your own hunting might hurt more than the dog's teeth, your debit card might squeal too - check out these prices! £169.80/kg ffs!!
This one has had fresh fallow antler since her adult teeth.Thank you all ! Yes I do feed mine raw chicken from time to time . Will try non load bearing bones , last time the cocker had some venison it was like someone lit a brown rocketthought it might be too rich for him ..
