Wanted: CZ 527 BOTTOM METAL or SHOT OUT RIFLE

Hi Looking for Bottom metal for a CZ527 in .223 a magazine as well would be nice. Or shot out rifle.

Beware that the bottom metal for CZ527s is not the same for every cartridge
I have a CZ527 in 22 hornet and got hold of the bottom metal for a CZ527 in 222 and they were not interchangeable
Magazines in stock here CZ 527 5 round magazine .223 Remington

Yes your'e right. I have the .223 and picked up the metal and mag for a .222 and as you say not interchangeable.

Bottom metal should be standard
Only the mag internals should be different

Have taken metal from a hornet and used it in a .222 with appropriate mag

I have a .223 mag and a .222 mag from 527s here. The .223 mag is 61.07mm whilst the .222 mag is 57.04mm the .223 mag will not fit in the .222 bottom metal.
It would be great if you have a bottom metal for a .223

A hornet bottom metal might work in a 222, but a 222 bottom metal does not work in a hornet
I bought a 222 bottom metal from you and tried it in my hornet, but the magazine hole is too big so the lip on the bottom metal does not fit into the step on the underside of the action

Are the CZ527 hornet and 222 stocks interchangeable i.e. would the hornet bottom metal be a drop-in fit into a 222 stock?

I’m trying to find out if a secondhand wooden CZ527 .222 American stock would fit my .22 Hornet?

I have a 527 stock from a .223 and a bottom metal from a .222 I’ve just checked and they fit together. I can also confirm a .223 mag doesn’t fit a .222 metal work. I don’t know about a Hornet though.
