Ooh lah lah, thank you muchly. I have never seen a black one previously, it looks terrific and the colour has 'slimmed' down the somewhat bulbous roofline.
I might have to take Big Jubblys out in the black edition ha ha.
Couple of fun jobs from my distant past, the first helped a daft young buck travel across two continents . The second, well they were fun times, lets leave it at that.
In my long lost yoof of early biking days, George Brown had a bike shop over in Stevenage Old Town High St. and his Vincent engined Super Nero drag bike was always in the window.… his son (also George?) took over the shop until it closed.
The Vincent factory was less than a mile away…sadly long gone and given way to a small housing development named Vincent Court (What else! )
That’s George junior in the last clip…….Aaaarrgghh! Why did the clip end just as we were getting to the good bit!
Another fond memory is the John Player Norton rotary’s… they eventually banned them as they couldn’t work out how to calculate the capacity. More probably a case of the ‘traditional’ engine manufacturers crying foul! (Tossers)
The sound of one of these howling past at full chat just makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up…and gives me a funny feeling just behind my nuts! (Bit like my bike)
The RC is to die for too
I remember seeing them at Snetterton and the inside of the exhaust was glowing cherry red as it came past…. Lovely
Well….. after finding those Norton Rotary vids the other day, i wondered what the rotary would have become/done if they hadn’t been banned and today my YT led me to this…. Brian Chrighton didn’t sit still did he…..
Sit back, turn the sound up to max and enjoy!! What a great noise!
Quote of the day belongs to Guy Martin… “them superbikes, they’re mopeds…..”
