Leupold LTO thermal tracker are they any good and if so what for

as the heading states anyone had personal experience and owned one , to be frank its not for stalking , I was just wondering how practical and useful they would be for missing person in woodland environment ?

They were introduced in 2017 and discontinued a couple of years later, if you see one it's either used or old "new" stock
Frankly, tt's the biggest heap of thermal junk ever foisted on an ignorant public
You'd be better off with one of those thermals that plug into the USB port on your phone
It's not always necessary to actually handle and use a product to know it's crap - and the Leupold tracker definitely falls into that category

Certainly there are much better thermal items now but in 2017-18 the Tracker was ok. Used mine for wild boar and in high stands and with sucess. A crude spotter. Easy to handle, like a cigar. Donated mine to Ukraine last year. Nothing to be bought today.
