Dog droppings.

It's been well known for a very long time that dog faeces is incredibly toxic to human beings and wildlife. It is loaded with dangerous microbes and often full of antibiotics which can pollute water courses. It takes months to decompose and it's even toxic to a lot of plant life.
 
My understanding, please correct me if I’m wrong, is the biggest reason for the toxicity in dog scat is because of the chemicals we give them as either medical care or in their foodstuffs. Not so different from humans.

I'd certainly far rather crawl through wild fox crap when out shooting than a domestic dog's leavings.

Badger is another matter though....
