Vacancy: A couple more interesting Scottish opportunities in today's Supply2Gov email

1. Thermal drone monitoring with live feedback to rangers

2. Helicopter and/or drone uplifts

There would appear to be a lot of changes afoot in the deer sector, interesting to see what technological solutions do get implemented.

Indeed, and my personal concern is that whilst we are only picking up on snippets - there does not seem to be a clear "public" or sector roadmap as to how all of these changes come into being and relate to each other:stir:

After more than 30 years of trying to calculate cull figures through counting ****, are FLS turning to more proven methodology.😜😜🙈

Correct me if I am wrong, but I do not believe the Scottish Government has a mandate to reclassify deer as vermin and to undertake a program of culling more akin to extermination than deer management. Was it included in their last election manifesto, if not has there been a referendum to provide the public support for such a policy?
